Kathryn Aileen Morrow Larsen, died Saturday August 29, 1998, in Houston, Texas after a long illness.

Born, May 2, 1924 in Crested Butte, Colorado to Martha and Ira Morrow; resided most of her childhood in Kemmerer, Wyoming. Attended Pasadena Jr. College in California.Married her childhood sweetheart, Arthur M. Larsen April 2, 1947 in Laramie, Wyoming while both where attending the University of Wyoming, where she graduated in business. Worked as a statistician for Autonetics in California, and retired as financial secretary for Olympus High School in Granite School District where she cultivated many friendships with faculty and students. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she was an enthusiastic family history writer. One of her greatest legacies was the volume of personal history she left to each of her children. She loved visiting her daughters and their families all over the country. She kept in constant touch with friends and family through her prolific letter writing. She was not only a talented writer but was also a musician and artist.

Kathryn is survived by a son, Robyn Larsen; and five daughters, Lauree (Jerry) Bramwell, Melissa (Brent) Monson, Rachelle (Thom) Peters, Deidre (Steven) Whittaker, Kristan (Greg) Smith; 24 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Kathryn's kindness and compassion will be remembered by friends and family and all whose lives she touched.

Funeral service will be held Thursday September 3, 1998 at 1 p.m., at the Mt. Olympus 7th Ward, 4407 South Fortuna Way (3695 East), where friends may call to meet the family for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 200 North `N' Street. Funeral Directors: Holbrook Mortuary.
