What's in the basement of the Utah Museum of Natural History? Find out at the "What's in the Basement Discovery Adventure" today from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Visitors will be allowed to explore seldom-seen collection areas of the museu. Curators will be available to discuss the exhibits of gems and minerals, archaeology, shells, birds and mammals. Special hands-on activities will be held throughout the day.The museum will open its new gift shop at noon.
Admission is adults $3; children 3 to 12 and senior citizens $1.50. The museum is located on the University of Utah Campus, Presidents Circle (approximately 215 South 1350 East). For information call the museum's information line at 581-4303 or the Visitors Services desk at 581-6928.
