Stella Lewis Johnson, age 93, passed away August 28, 1998, in Salt Lake City at her residence of five years, Parklane Manor.

Stella was born to Arthur and Muriel Lewis September 17, 1905, in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Stella grew up in Rock Springs and later moved to Salt Lake City where she met and married her lifetime companion Robert Lloyd Johnson July 20, 1927, in Salt Lake City, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS temple June 29, 1967. One of her great joys as a teenager was working for the Kearns family at their home, which is now the Governor's Mansion. She later worked many years at the local creamery in Salt Lake City. Stella was a faithful member of the LDS church and showed many acts of service to the community and the ones whose lives she touched. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at Parklane.She is survived by family and many friends who loved her. She is now reunited with her husband, son, mother, father, and brother who preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday September 2, 1998, at 11 a.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary at 295 North Main Street. The viewing will be held from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery.
