LeOra Williams Zabriskie, 71, Windermere, Florida, formerly of Salt Lake City, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 1998 due to a cerebral hemorrhage.
LeOra and her husband, Ken, were currently serving as Matron and President respectively, of the Orlando Florida Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.She was born in Heber City, Utah, May 16, 1927 to Eva Thacker and David A. Williams. She married Kenneth L. Zabriskie, March 16, 1945 at Oakland, CA. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She and her husband presided over the Florida Ft. Lauderdale and West Indies missions. She was an honored member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
She is survived by her husband; sons, Steven Zabriskie; and B. Dale Zabriskie, Florida; daughters, Sharon Barden, and Susan Homan, both of New Hampshire; brothers, Brent Williams, Vaughn Williams, and Glade Williams, all of California; and by 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
