Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Enone Lyman Davis Hardman, passed away at her home August 26, 1998, leaving behind many who loved and learned from her diligence and courage.

Born in Blanding, Utah on July 29, 1907, the third of 15 children, she was the daughter of Albert R. and Mary Ellen Perkins Lyman. She married Milton S. Davis in the Salt Lake Temple, October 16, 1929. He died March 6, 1950. Married Delbert W. Hardman in the Salt Lake Temple on December 4, 1953. He died August 21, 1994.Enone lived a life serving others, that service included fulfilling many callings and two missions for the LDS Church. Music and genealogy were two of her greatest pleasures.

She is preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters. Survived by brothers and sisters, Karl Lyman (Edith), Klar Bishop, Ann Reeve (Grant), Gwen Smith (Don), Edith Frost, Alberta O'Brien, and Ellen Atkin (Floyd); children, Audrey D. Groen (Stanley), Milton L. Davis (Margaret), LuAnne D. Welch, Lell D. Farley (Douglas), Kay L. Davis (Karen), Catherine H. Steinfeldt (Gary), Beulah H. Barrett (Fred), Wallace D. Hardman, Diana H. Campbell, and Ray Hardman (Dyanne); 45 grandchildren, 92 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

Family members will miss their birthday card every year, unexpected love notes, letters of counsel, and seeing her wave good-bye at the door. Always concerned about everyone, she was the shepherd of her little flock. Memories of her unconditional love, stories, laughter, caring, and prayerful teachings will remain with us forever. "Now Mom, we are standing at the door waving to you."

Funeral service on Saturday, August 29th, at 1 p.m., Taylorsville 1st Ward Chapel, 4545 South Woodhaven Drive (1365 West). Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, Friday evening 6-8 p.m., and at the Ward on Saturday, 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
