Our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Kent R. Goulding, 71, passed away on August 23, 1998.

Born June 20, 1927 in Widtsoe, Utah to Ernest and Ione Goulding. He graduated from Jordan High School in 1945. He served one year in the U.S. Navy. Married Ilene Coates September 2, 1954. He was a long time member of the F.O.E., Teamsters, and the American Legion.He truly enjoyed the great outdoors. He loved to take his family on camping trips, go fishing and hunting with his siblings and their families. He also enjoyed quiet time at home with an old western.

Kent touched the hearts of many people. We feel very honored and blessed to have been given the time to love and learn from him. He will be greatly missed by all who's lives he has touched.

Our cherished memories will always be in our hearts. "We love you and wish you eternal peace. Sweet Dreams."

Survived by wife, Ilene; children, Pamela Kae McKenzie and Anthony Martinez, Ren Kent and Robert Sutphin; grandchildren, Angela and Todd Mayhew, Tuesday McKenzie; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Briauna Mayhew; siblings, Colleen Grow, Brant, Renn, Terry, Sherri Keener, Deloa Pitt, and Kirk. Preceded in death by both parents; brother, Vard; grandsons, Jason and Harley Bowman.

Viewing at Colonial Mortuary, 2128 South State, on Wednesday Aug. 26th, between 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to service on Thursday. Funeral service also at Colonial Mortuary, on Thursday, Aug. 27th, at 11 a.m. Eternal resting at Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road.
