Ronnie Lynn Thompson, 16, passed away August 22, 1998, of injuries sustained in a automobile accident near Tooele, Utah.

Born January 13, 1982, in Price, Utah, to Rodney Ronald and Lorri Webb Thompson. Ronnie was a student at Taylorsville High School where he was very active in ROTC as 1st Sgt. of Company A.He was a navel sea cadet at Fort Douglas; graduated from Navy Sea Cadet Boot Camp in Fort Wachuca, Arizona. He was a member of the National Honor Society, and was invited to Washington, DC, for special honors. He competed on the Color Guard team, Exhibition Rifle team, and would volunteer in many community activities. He was member of the Liberty Baptist Church of Las Vegas, an exceptional person, avid sportsman. He enjoyed hunting with his father and fishing with his grandfather. He will be especially missed by his loving sister.

Ronnie is survived by his mother, Lorri Good of Taylorsville; father, Rod and Cathy Thompson of West Jordan City; stepfather, Gary Lee Good of Las Vegas, Nevada; stepsister, Nicole Good of California; sister, Candace Thompson of Taylorsville; stepbrothers, Jeremy, Cory, Kyle Petersen, all of West Jordan; grandparents, Lynn and Sandy Webb of Draper, Ron and Evelyn Thompson of Stansbury Park, Utah; great-grandparents, Mary Carpenter of Draper, Cal and Signe Webb of Salt Lake City; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 25, 1998, 10 a.m. at Sunset Gardens of the Valley, 10600 South 1700 East. Friends may call at the Mountain Side Baptist Church, 10600 South 166 East, Sandy, on Tuesday, August 25, 1998, at 9 a.m. Funeral directors, Memorial Estates Mortuary.
