A grand jury investigation into alleged mismanagement and corrupt business practices at the Timpanogos Community Mental Health Center has been put on hold for at least three months and may not happen at all.

Fourth District judges decided Thursday that investigations by the attorney general's office and federal and state agencies are sufficient. However, judges left the door open to call a grand jury following current investigations and audits, which are expected to take 90 more days.Last month, Utah County Democratic Party leaders appealed to the 4th District's four judges to impanel a grand jury.
