Davis County prosecutors Friday issued a warrant for the arrest of Brandon Holloman, a 29-year-old Bountiful man who is a suspect in the October death of his 4-month-old boy.

Holloman, whose whereabouts are unknown, is being sought on a charge of first-degree felony murder, according to a press release from the prosecutor's office.Jalen Holloman died Oct. 19, 1997, at Primary Children's Medical Center, after doctors determined the 4-month-old boy was brain dead and his parents, Brandon and Tonya Holloman, 22, allowed life support devices to be removed.

The baby's injuries were sustained Oct. 18, while his father was baby-sitting him at the family's home, 192 W. 200 North, Bountiful.

An autopsy report released five days later revealed the death was not accidental and was caused by blunt force to the head, Bountiful police said last year.

Jalen Holloman suffered a severely fractured skull and bruises to the head, which caused his brain to swell, police said.
