My beloved husband, our dear father and grandfather, age 69, passed away at home August 19, 1998.

Born January 12, 1929 in Freiberg, Germany to Curt Robert Otto and Gertrud Charlotte Martin Otto. He married Elly Naujoks May 29, 1952 in Berlin, Germany; later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple after immigration to the USA in May 1959. We had a wonderful life. He attended Medical School at the University of West-Berlin, Germany and the University of Manitoba, from where he graduated in May 1964. After internship and residency in Salt Lake City he was in private practice of anesthesiology at the LDS Hospital where he enjoyed his work every day and hour until the time of retirement in January 1994.Member of the Utah Medical Society and Utah and American Society of Anesthesiologists, A.M.A. His greatest concern was the welfare of his family and of his patients.

High Priest of the LDS Church where he was active in many different positions, including a mission in the North Germany Mission.

Survived by his wife, Elly; son, Stephan, D.D.S. and wife Veronique; daughter, Christine and Bruce Bergeson; and granddaughters, Jessica, Amy, Erin, and Heather, in Orem, Utah.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 22, 1998, 12 noon, at the Bonneville First Ward, 1535 Bonneview Drive. (1051 So. 1500 E.) Friends may call Saturday beginning at 10:30 a.m. prior to service at the church. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.
