Harold Columbus Wallace, age 75, of Big Rock, Tennessee, died Friday, Aug. 14, 1998 at Clarksville Memorial Hospital.
The Funeral was held Aug. 17, 1998 at Sykes Funeral Home in Dover, Tenn. Pallbearers were Bobby Morgan, Justin Morgan, Joe Coleman, Neal Wallace, Gary Page and David Wallace.He was born Dec. 3, 1922, son of Artemus W. Wallace and Mary Earhart Wallace. He was a retired Air Force civil service employee and a U.S. Army and Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as ward clerk for 12 years in the Clarksville and New Providence wards, Hopkinsville, KT Stake.
He is survived by his wife, Ella Robb Wallace, married Aug. 9, 1946 and later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, Oct. 23, 1985.
Other survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Robert Risner; daughter, Ellan Jensen; two brothers, J.E. Wallace and Grant Wallace; sister, Ophelia Cheatham; one grandchild; sister and brother-in-law, Kathryn and Roger Smith; sister-in-law, Vivian Robb; nieces and nephews too numerous to list, whose lives were touched by his love and example.
