Surrounded by many of her loved ones, Annie Pinto Jake returned home August 15, 1998.

We celebrate her life. "We love and miss you!"Born July 15, 1928 in Vanderwagon, NM, to Jim Pinto and Ellen Goodluck Pinto. She married her lifelong love, Julian Jake, Jr.

Annie loved fishing, hunting, camping and cooking. She was a member of the LDS Church and employed throughout her life in service. Her greatest joy was her family.

She leaves her husband, Julian, West Valley City, UT; children, Mary (Tony) Davis, Window Rock, AZ; Shirley Abeita, Gallup, NM; Winona (Keith) Jones, West Jordan, UT; Erdman (Patty) Jake, Sandy, UT; Anthony (Alfreida) Jake, Elko, NV; Nevie (Susie) Jake, Denver, CO; Celina Jake, Ogden, UT; her brothers, John, Wilson, and Juan; sisters, Elsie, and Eleanor. She had 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her father; mother; her son, James John; brother, Anthony; and sister, Mary. She will return to rest in "Dinetah".

Funeral service in St. Michael's, Arizona LDS chapel, Wednesday, August 19, 1998, 10 a.m. Interment, Ft. Defiance, Arizona Cemetery.
