Pearl C. Bywater, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, age 95, died August 12, 1998, living a full and loving life.
She was born January 6, 1903 in Salt Lake City to Amos and Edith Cardwell. Married H. Paul Bywater August 14, 1936. Their marriage was later solemnized in Salt Lake LDS Temple. Paul preceded her in death in 1978.Pearl loved to go to lunch with "The Girls." She was an avid Jazz Fan, loved taking pictures, and an active member of the LDS Church. She worked as a film booking agent for M.G.M. for many years and secretary for Bywater Construction.
Survived by her two children, Gary (Louise) Bywater, and Linda (Rick) Montano; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband; and two grandchildren, David and Lisa.
Funeral service to be held 11 a.m., Monday, August 17, 1998 at Butler First Ward, 7000 South 2700 East, SLC. Viewing Sunday, 6-8 p.m., Memorial Estates, 7800 South 3115 East, and one hour prior to service at Butler Ward, 10-11 a.m. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
