First half: Utah's "Mega Line" of 7-foot-2 Margo Dydek, 6-5 Elena Baranova and 6-2 Wendy Palmer scored the team's first 24 points while the Monarchs were on a point-a-minute pace - 10 minutes, 10 points; 19 minutes, 19 points - until they made three baskets in the last minute. Dydek got her 100th block of the season with seven minutes left in the half against Linda Burgess.
Second half: Palmer scored 21 of her game-high 31 points in the second half, making 7-of-14 shots (11-for-21 for the game). Four consecutive Palmer free throws gave Utah its biggest lead, 60-39, at 11:09. Former Starzz player Lady Hardmon scored 10 of her team-high 14 to help bring the Monarchs back to a respectable score with a 46-point half.
