The woman who went to prison for stalking David Letterman and was arrested for stalking astronaut Story Musgrave is in trouble with the law again.

Margaret Mary Ray, 46, pleaded guilty Monday to misdemeanor assault on a corrections officer and was sentenced to 246 days in jail. But she was released because she received credit for time already served.Ray was arrested last September after showing up at Musgrave's Osceola County home and turning on all the outdoor faucets. She had pursued him for four years with unwanted letters and gifts. She pleaded guilty in June to the stalking charge. She has also completed that sentence with credit for time served.

Previously, Ray was obsessed with Letterman. She spent about 10 months in prison and 14 months in a state mental institution after she was convicted of trespassing at Letterman's Connecticut home in 1989 and 1990. The case led Connecticut to pass a stalking law in 1993.
