Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed from this earthly life after a sudden illness while encircled in the hands and hearts of her loving family on August 8, 1998.
She was born on February 15, 1928, the third of seven children to Clinton Thomas and Hazel Emmerette Tuttle Boyington in Manti, Utah. She married Wallace Stetich on August 27, 1950. They raised five wonderful children. Wallace died in 1981. She married John A. (Jack) Patrick on May 30, 1986, with whom she spent the last 12 joyous years.Phyllis lived her life to the fullest, enjoying her family and friends, an example of caring thoughtfulness and compassion to us all. She was not only our mother, but also a mother to her children's friends and many nieces, nephews and her stepchildren.
She is survived by her husband, John A. (Jack) Patrick; children, Thomas A. (Julie) Stetich, Valinda (Wally) Rose, Joe W. (Sydney) Stetich, Marco (Susan) Stetich, Jalaine (James) Stetich; eight grandchildren; stepchildren, Pam (Barry) Knutson, Greg (Judy) Patrick, Christi (Fred) Gerlach, Shelley Sanchez; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; siblings, her best friend and sister Marilyn B. Bryan, Ethel (Richard) Oakden, Irene Boswell, Delbert (Vivian) Boyington, Thomas Boyington, and many extended family members.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 21, 1998, in the Canyon Rim Stake Center, 3051 South 2900 East. Friends may call at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Drive, Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., and at the ward from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
