Ryan Craig Collins, age 23, left this world on Thursday, August 6, 1998 in Stansbury Park.
Born September 30, 1974 in Salt Lake City. Married Jena Lee Johnson on September 14, 1996 in Sandy.Ryan came into this world fast, and that is how he lived the rest of his life. If he wanted something and he went after it, you knew he would get it. He was an extremely hard worker and played hard, too. He loved hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, and anything in nature. Ryan made friends fast and would do anything to help his friends and family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survived by wife, Jena, Stansbury Park; mother, Carol Collins (Kara); father, Craig C. Collins (wife Jeannie); brother, Jayson; sister: Carie (Chet) Jonas and niece Alexis; sister, Andrea Smith; in-laws: Trudy and Billy Petersen and Bill and Candace Johnson; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Robin Johnson; grandparents: Nathan A. and Maxine Barney, Edwin L. and Opal Collins; great grandmother, Tillie Bailey; stepsisters: Christee and Troy Kehoe, Dawn May, Gordan May; and many other friends and family.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, 2 p.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m., and Tuesday 1 hour prior to services. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park. Friends and family are invited to meet afterward at 1777 West Mantle Avenue, Taylorsville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Security Bank under Jena Collins Trust Fund.
