A federal judge Friday issued an order permitting relatives of Capitol shooting suspect Russell Weston Jr. to visit him in the hospital.

Chief U.S. District Judge Norma Holloway Johnson ruled Weston's parents could visit him at D.C. General Hospital, where he is in stable condition, recovering from multiple gunshot wounds suffered during the gunbattle in the U.S. Capitol on July 24.A spokesman for the U.S. attorney's office said prosecutors did not object to the visits.
