The body of a boy swept into a creek by a flood that caught him and a cousin was found Saturday as the water receded.
Searchers in suburban Elm Grove found the body of 10-year-old Damien F. Cauley about 200 feet from the spot where his cousin, Blake Boyd, 14, was found Friday, police Chief Jeffrey Haig said. The boys had been missing since Thursday.Three days of torrential rain in southern Wisconsin sent creeks and rivers over their banks in Elm Grove, Sheboygan and other communities.
Damage in Sheboygan, about 50 miles north of Milwaukee, was estimated at about $20 million, Deputy Police Chief David Kirk said.
About 400 residents of a Sheboygan apartment complex were still not allowed to return home because of structural damage to their building, and some could be out for several months, Kirk said.
