Money is hard to come by here in rural southern Utah. We struggle to raise families and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. We enjoy wildlife 365 days a year. Hunting and fishing are freedoms we enjoy and hope to pass on to future generations. That is why tens of thousands of dollars have been donated by rural Utahns to inform all Utahns why supporting Proposition 5 is so important. It seems to us these animal rights people have lots of money and lots of time, trying to take everything away from all of us.
I don't know where Kirk Robinson, who wrote the July 22 "My View," got his numbers from, but rural Utahns have dug deep to protect something that is very special to us. We'll be voting for Proposition 5.McLain Mecham
