Killed were:Steven Creviston, 47, Provo.
LeRoy Shelton, 77, Pocatello.
- Utah Highway Patrol trooper Wayne Durrant said Creviston was traveling north on I-15 at about 6 p.m. just before coming to the University Parkway/1200 South exit and attempted to change lanes as traffic slowed.
Durrant said Creviston tried to move into the left lane from the middle lane when he realized another vehicle was in his way. Witnesses say he then swerved to the right, overcorrected and rolled the 1984 Ford Bronco.
Creviston was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the ve-hicle. He was transported to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
- Shelton died in a rollover five miles north of Tremonton on I-15. His granddaughter, Natasha Albrecht, 12, was injured.
A Utah Highway Patrol press release said Shelton died Monday night after being crushed by the rolling car.
Shelton was a passenger in a car driven by his wife, Lois Shelton, who was headed north on the interstate at Riverside. The woman apparently reached down to the floor board to retrieve something at 8:20 p.m. and lost control of the vehicle, resulting in it spinning clockwise before it rolled twice. She received cuts and was treated and released from the Bear River Valley Hospital. The couple's granddaughter, Natasha Albrecht, was taken by helicopter to Primary Children's Hospital, where she was listed Wednesday morning in good condition.
