Our loving and gentle wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, Jacquelin Rosenkrantz, passed away August 3, 1998, at her home surrounded by her family.

Jacque was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. Her passion in life was making others feel comfortable. That she did in a variety of ways from cooking excellent meals to sewing to just being an upbeat, gentle spirit. She had a fun sense of humor and made friends with anyone and everyone she met. Those who knew her loved her and we all miss her warm spirit and tender guidance.She was born August 29, 1924, to Charles and Esther Burtch. She married Claude W. Rosenkrantz on December 21, 1947.

Jacque attended Fresno State, University of California at Berkley and San Jose State. She loved children and taught pre-school and kindergarten for over 15 years. She had a special creativity and tenderness-she brought to all who graced her classroom.

She was an active member of the LDS Church, Rainbow Girls, the Assistance League of Salt Lake City, Ikebana International Flower Design and the California Teachers Association. She was a very creative and talented person.

She loved to sew, crochet, and she made very special warm, cuddly stuffed bears she gave to family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles; and her sister, Ramona Burtch Grieve. She is survived by her husband, Claude; sons, Shurl, Scott, and Kevin Rosenkrantz; granddaughter, Valerie Rosenkrantz; mother, Esther Burtch.

Funeral service, Thursday, August 6, 1998, 12 noon, Ensign LDS Ward, 589 - 18th Ave, Salt Lake City, where friends and family may call one hour prior to the service. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery. Funeral Directors Larkin Mortuary.
