A Magna woman was in critical, but stable condition at a local hospital Monday after a Saturday night car accident with two other vehicles.

Juanita Sizer was eastbound about 7 p.m. on 7200 W. Gardenia Ave. (3420 South), when she apparently ran a stop sign and collided with a southbound pickup truck, Salt Lake County deputy sheriff Larry Stratford said. After the initial collision, both vehicles struck a third car, Stratford said. Both other drivers, whose names have not been released, suffered minor injuries and were treated and released at the scene.

Sizer was airlifted to University Hospital, where she remains in the intensive care unit, a hospital spokeswoman said.
