The U.S. Army is offering $2,000 to anyone who can tell them where a 60-ton tank was taken after it was stolen from a Fort Polk firing range 10 days ago, an Army spokeswoman said Friday.

The obsolete M728 Combat Engineer Vehicle was on the base to be used as a target on the firing range and has an inoperable 165mm turret mounted gun, a retractable boom, a scraping blade and a winch, authorities said."We are unaware of any risk to the public," Army spokeswoman Paula Schlag told Reuters. "There was no ammunition on it."
