After three months on the run, a former high school homecoming king stood before a judge Friday to face charges in a string of armed robberies.

Tom Curtis, 18, gave a half-smile to a handful of supporters, including some who prosecutors say partied with him last month while he was on the run in Mazatlan, Mexico.The judge continued bail at $4.75 million for the former student body president - $250,000 for each of the 19 counts of robbery he could face.
