Christie Brinkley can still stop traffic - even if it's the presidential motorcade.
The supermodel walked outside her home in Sag Harbor, N.Y., Saturday to join others waving at President Clinton while he passed through the area."The president was waving at everybody, and then he saw Christie. You could see him mouth to his driver, `Stop, it's Christie,' " said Brinkley's husband, architect Peter Cook.
Clinton, who is on a trip on Long Island's East End, hopped out of the car and greeted Brinkley, 43, and her family, Cook said.
They exchanged pleasantries in the middle of the street, including how Clinton's golf game went earlier in the day.
"He looked relaxed. He looked like he got a little sun," Cook said.
