James Langston King, age 75, died July 27, 1998 at his home in Taylorsville, Utah.
James was born September 21, 1922 in Warrenton, North Carolina to James Wright and Anna Lee Andrews King. Married Norine Pace, May 26, 1945 in Kaysville, Utah. Member of the LDS church. Served in the US Army Air Corp. Former resident of the Logan, Utah area for 19 years. Former member of the River Heights Lions Club and the Logan Chamber of Commerce. Employed as a store manager for Albertsons for 35 years.James is survived by his wife, Norine; two sons, General James C. (Jeanene) King, Ft, Myers, Virginia; Richard L. (Julie) King, Boise, Idaho; one daughter, Julie Ann (Ken) Rigby, West Valley City; one sister, Elizabeth (Carl) Satterwhile, Henderson, North Carolina; ten grandchildren, Jennifer, Camille, Melissa, Katherine, Rick, Michelle, Mindi, Jared, James, Elizabeth; nine great grandchildren, Samantha, Phoenix, Codi, Sarah, Dominik, Jodeci, Kingston, Kaitlin, and Jayden. Preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 31, 1998, 10 a.m. at Valley Park 7th Ward, 4986 South Valois Drive. Friends may call Thursday, 5-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Friday at church, 9-9:45 a.m. Interment, Francis Cemetery.
