Salt Lake County deputies are looking for a gray or green van and three men believed to be responsible for an aggravated robbery in Magna Tuesday morning.

Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call at 6:30 a.m. to find an 80-year-old Magna man had been robbed at gunpoint by three males wearing ski masks, Salt Lake County Lt. Steve Alexander said. Two of the three suspects were carrying handguns. The men approached the victim as he was starting his car in the driveway of his home, 3397 S. Helen Drive. (8575 West). The suspects apparently sprayed some kind of chemical - possibly Mace - in the man's face and demanded his money, Alexander said. He was not seriously injured.

The victim emptied his pockets, which contained nearly $1,000 cash, and the three suspects fled in a van. The victim was unable to provide clear descriptions of the men because his eyes were blurred from the chemical.

Anyone who may have seen the incident or has information about the crime should contact the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office at 534-5441.
