Our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Beulah Hancock Lunceford, age 82, died July 22, 1998 in Provo, Utah.

She was born July 21, 1916 in Payson, Utah, a daughter of Nelson Armond and Emma Jane Openshaw Lunceford. Beulah graduated from Payson High School. She married Gerald Allen Lunceford on October 17, 1938 in Orem, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Gerald died September 28, 1986.Beulah was an active member of the LDS Church and served faithfully as a Primary Teacher and in the Relief Society Presidency, as well as many other callings. She loved to crochett and make crafts.

Survivors include one son and two daughters, Russell Gerald Lunceford, of Bountiful; Mrs. Dean (Susan Diane) Anderson, and Mrs. David (Carma Joy) Kump, both of Orem. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Harry Hancock, of Payson. She was preceded in death by her husband; one brother, Ollie Hancock; two sisters, May Elmer and Arma Taylor.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 25, 1998 at 10 a.m. in the Hillcrest 4th Ward Chapel, 800 South 440 East, in Orem. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State St., Orem, and also one hour prior to the service at the ward chapel. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
