The Utah Valley Artists' Guild will hold a meeting at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, at the Art Shop, 443 S. 200 East. This month's presenter will be art teacher Max D. Weaver.

Weaver began his teaching career at Helper Junior High. He later became chairman of the art department at Southern Utah State College and then a professor of art at Brigham Young University. He is chairman of the Orem City Art Board and is a volunteer at the Church Museum of History and Art in Salt Lake City.Weaver will give a demonstration on block printing and will also exhibit some of his art work. The public is invited.
