Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, age 73, passed away July 17 of a brain tumor.
Born May 4, 1925, in SLC to Wherli Pack and Ruth Fisher Pack. Married Murval Mae Christensen April 27, 1947. Survived by wife and three daughters, Sherry (Bill) Baker (SLC), Darcy (Brian) Nutter (Mt. Vernon, ME), Rebecca Pack (Moses Lake, WA). Survived also by eight siblings, Douglas (Ione) Pack, Lucille (Paul) Slack, Mildred (Cliff) Jolley, Lilia Martindale, Wallace (Mary Lou) Pack, Annette (John) Fredrickson, Melvin (Paula) Pack, Donna (Ron) Eggertsen. Wonderful papa to 14 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.Navy veteran of World War II and Korean conflict. Member LDS Church. Served as Bishop and Stake High Councilman, Palm Springs, CA Stake. Lived in So. California 1955-1989. Specialist and corporate manager, air conditioning and heating. Retired to St. George, where he pursued his hobbies of desert exploration, ham radios, and computers.
The family extends special appreciation and love to all those who have been so kind and thoughtful in his final days.
