What's Jerry Seinfeld doing now that his hit sitcom is over? He's back doing stand-up, trying out new material.
Quietly, Seinfeld was booked through the month at the Comedy and Magic Club in the Los Angeles coastal suburb of Hermosa Beach. No advertising, no publicity, no yada, yada, yada. The shows are a warm-up for Seinfeld's HBO special, "I'm Telling You for the Last Time," planned for next month.
The comic did three stand-up shows last week and has four more scheduled, ending on July 30, the Daily Breeze of Torrance reported Saturday. At $35 a pop, all the club's 225 seats are sold out for every show.
Fans learned about the shows through word-of-mouth or by an announcement in the club ticket window.
