Noel Gould Dixon, 69, died July 15, 1998 in Wells, Nevada.

Noel was born in Payson, Utah, December 21, 1998, son of Gould and Madoline Cloward Dixon. Noel attended schools in Payson and graduated from Payson High School. He attended and graduated from Brigham Young University. He was a teacher at Taylor School and was loved by his students. Noel became a pilot at a young age and could fly solo before he was 16, (and before his mother knew it). He married Carol Jean Smart in 1950 and together had four children. They divorced in 1974. After teaching, Noel pursued other interests and became a successful businessman in numerous companies. He served in the Army a short time during the Korean War and for many years was a member of the American Legion and Payson J.C.'s. He was a member of the Payson Band and loved music. Married Renee Warenski, 1979, later divorced. Noel was loved by all and touched the hearts of many. He was a kind, loving, gentle man who would do anything that was asked of him. He had very special relationships with his children. He will be deeply missed by his family.Noel is survived by his mother, Madoline Dixon Huseby; stepfather, Nord Huseby; brother, Gerald (Kathryn) Dixon, all of Payson; former wife, Carol Dean, Eureka; his children, Denne (Mike) Bosco; Kent (Julie) Dixon, Salt Lake; Bonne (Mike) LaCario, Zephyr Hills, FL; Gus (Wanda) Dixon, Salt Lake; and nine grandchildren whom he loved and they loved him. He was preceded in death by his father, Gould.

Services will be held July 20, 1998 in the Payson 3rd Ward Chapel, 191 No. Main St. at 11 a.m. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary, 587 So. 100 West, Payson, Sunday, 6-8 p.m. or Monday, 9:30-10:30 a.m. Internment, Payson Cemetery.
