Deputies saw two teenage brothers driving erratically, so they chased the boys down and captured them. Then authorities went to notify their parents.
That was when police found the bodies of Stanley and Elizabeth Sexton, shot to death.Matthew Ryan Sexton, 17, is accused of killing his parents and Brian Sexton, 13, of helping to cover up the crime.
Matthew, a student at Dallas High School, was arraigned Wednesday on two counts of aggravated murder and will be tried as an adult, though he will not face the death penalty if convicted.
Brian was charged with hindering prosecution and eluding a police officer, and was held in a juvenile facility.
The boys were arrested early Wednesday. Matthew was driving a pickup and his brother a sport utility vehicle, traveling together, and they tried to elude a deputy who chased them, said Sgt. Richard Manning of the Polk County sheriff's office.
