Our precious father, son, brother and friend, passed away July 12, 1998 in Las Vegas, Nevada, at age 40.
Clay was born January 6, 1958, to Nada Holton Brydson and Donald Holton. He has a special daughter, Ciji, whom he loved very much. He was a member of the LDS Church. Clay was wheelchair bound six years ago after a tragic construction accident. Clay was currently attending the school at St. George, furthering his education. Clay was a happy and outgoing person. Although Clay was in a wheelchair, he enjoyed and lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed very special times with his niece, Misty Mondragon, who is also in a wheelchair. They had many things in common.Clay is survived by his mother, Nada Brydson, of Francis, UT; father, Don Holton, St. George, UT; daughter, Ciji Holton, also of St. George, UT; Todd and ZoeAnn Holton, Francis, UT; Jeff and (Robin) Hisler, Heber City, UT; Gordon and (Ronda) Mondragon, Kamas, UT; Tassie Bushell, Kamas, UT; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and his best friend and companion, Sheba, his dog; all who loved Clay and will miss him dearly. Preceded in death, Clay is now walking and holding hands with, (Ma and Pa) Clayne and Juanita Van Tassell, grandparents.
The family would like to thank Gordon Mondragon for his help with Clay and also all those from Applegate Home Health, that helped Clay and for their friendship to him. He will be greatly missed.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 18, 1998 at 11 a.m. at the Francis LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the church Friday evening 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday, one hour prior to service. Interment, Francis Cemetery, under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home in Kamas, UT.
