A series of events, including rodeos for both junior and adult cowboys and a Grand Parade, will be held during Santaquin Days, Saturday, July 18 to Tuesday, Aug. 4.

The celebration begins with baby, Little Miss and Junior Miss contests, all held at Santaquin Elementary School on July 18. A picnic in the park with the mayor will be held July 25. Call Linda Kenison at 754-3641 or Herb Lloyd at 754-3600 for picnic information.The Santaquin Community Choir will perform in concerts July 25 and in the Santaquin LDS Stake Center at 7 p.m.

The Little Buck-A-Roo Rodeo for children 3 years old and younger is July 28-29 at 6 p.m. in the Santaquin Rodeo Arena, with registration July 13 through July 16. Registration for the Santaquin Rodeo is July 17-18. The rodeo is July 31 and Aug. 1 in the Santaquin Rodeo Arena, with fireworks following the Aug. 1 performance.

A play by the Santaquin Arts Council, "The Money in Uncle George's Suitcase," will be performed July 28, July 31, Aug. 1, Aug. 3 and Aug. 4. Chieften Museum Tours will take place July 31 and Aug. 1.

A Grand Parade is scheduled for Aug. 1. at 10 a.m. with activities and fun in the park following. The Grand Parade begins at 400 E. Main St. and proceeds west to 300 West, then turns south to West Park.

Other activities include: Monday, July 27 - Chuck wagon dinner at the city center at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, July 29 - Youth parade at 4:30 p.m. The parade starts at the Santaquin City Center, 45 W. 100 South, and proceeds west to the city park.

Thursday, July 30 - Youths and ladies trap shoot, at the Santaquin Gun Club, 4:30 p.m.

Piano Festival, 6 p.m. at the LDS Ward chapel, 345 W. 100 North.
