Quinn Kevin Steadman, of Salem, died Saturday, July 11, 1998. He was born December 14, 1978 in Bellevue, Washington, a son of Kevin Hickman, and Mary Ann Shields Steadman.
Quinn began serving his mission, Saturday, July 11th while in route from Salt Lake City, to Provo, Utah. The oldest of six sons and second oldest child in the family.Quinn you are greatly missed. A graduate of Spanish Fork High School, Quinn used his great enthusiasm serving as the Ashi-babba his senior year. Quinn was an Eagle Scout, and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed time with family and friends fishing, camping, and just being with other people, especially Brett, Jeremey, and Leigh. During High School, Quinn was a Life Guard for Seven Peaks Resort, and was currently employed at Chrysalis Enterprises, as a Trainer, using his easy going nature and love of people to provide compassionate service. Your associates left behind: Rudy, John, and Roger, will miss you terribly. Quinn, we were blessed by your presence and honored by your association. We love you, and there will always be an extra steak on the grill.
He is survived by his parents, of Salem; brothers, Lindon, Patrick, Christian, Derek, and Collin; sister, Shanda Kay Nielson (Kamren Nielsen), of Spanish Fork; nephew, Kade Nielsen; grandparents, Curtis and Roena Shields, Kanosh, Utah, and Stan and Mavis Steadman, Taylorsville, Utah; great-grandmother, Norma Sherwood, Nephi, Utah; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, July 15, 1998 at 11 a.m. in the Salem West Stake Center, 695 South 300 West. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Walker Mortuary of Spanish Fork, 187 South Main, or Wednesday from 9:45-10:45 prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Salem City Cemetery.
