Staff of a Salt Lake parking garage discovered the body of a man Tuesday, and police are calling it a "suspicious death" until an autopsy can be performed.
The victim, identified as Taras Borisovich Krasnov, 27, was found about 7 p.m. Tuesday at 131 E. Social Hall Ave., said Salt Lake police Lt. Dennis Tueller. He was seated in the back seat of a Ford Expedition. Police estimate he had been dead about four days.Tueller said there were no obvious bullet or stab wounds but that the victim's death appears "suspicious."
The vehicle had Washington state license plates, and identification found on the body indicates the man was from out of state, but that will have to be confirmed by the medical examiner's office, Tueller said.
