Michael "Mike" Paul Thomas, Jr., age 21, passed away on July 1, 1998 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born on July 28, 1976 in Salt Lake City, UT to Michael Paul Thomas and Debbie Eldredge Page. He married Nicolle Renee Wells on January 24, 1997 in Mesa, Arizona.Mike was born in Salt Lake and raised in Sandy, Utah. He graduated from Jordan High School. Upon graduating from High School, he enlisted in the military and served three years in the Army-Infantry Armor Division. He was in charge of dispensing weapons and served in Kuwait for Desert Storm. For the past year Mike worked for Clear Vision Cable. Mike was a licensed gun smith and he loved the outdoors. His hobbies included: camping, hunting, repelling, mtn. climbing and biking. Mike was hard working, and had a great sense of humor. He was very personable and outgoing. He was very intelligent and had a sense for business. He was a loving husband and father and will be dearly missed by his family. He was an Elder and an active member of the LDS Church, and had a special love for his Heavenly Father and Jesus.

Survivors include his wife, Nicolle Renee Thomas; one daughter, Lexi Meravea Thomas both of Cedar City, UT; father, Michael Paul Thomas, Sr. of Veyo, UT; mother, Debbie Page, stepfather Dennis Page. one sister, Danielle Page, Sandy, Ut. two brothers, Josh Page, Sandy, Ut. and Justin Thomas of Michigan; grandparents Paul and Helen Mae Thomas of St. George, Ut. grandmother; Josephine "Lee" Eldredge; Bountiful, Ut. Great grandparents Helen and Fred Moesinger, Ogden, Ut. Many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his grandfather Elbert H. Eldredge, and an uncle Spencer Thomas.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 1998 at 11 a.m. in the Spilsbury & Beard Desert Rose Memorial Chapel, 110 South Bluff, St. George, UT. Friends may call Monday evening 7 to 9 p.m. at Spilsbury & Beard Mortuary and Tuesday morning one hour prior to services. Interment, St. George City Cemetery 673-2454.
