Ada Rose Boothe Morgan, age 86, of Provo, passed away peacefully in her home on June 27, 1998.

Ada was born on September 10, 1911, to Nathanial and Eunice Wickman Boothe. She attended schools in Honeyville, Utah, and later attended Utah Valley Trade Tech where she receiving a degree in nursing. She married Frank T. Morgan on December 1, 1939, in Honolulu, Hawaii. They were later sealed in the Provo LDS Temple.Ada was first a mother and homemaker. After these duties, she was a nurse at Utah Valley Medical Center, and Orem Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was active in the community. This was evident by her volunteering to help battered and abused women, and in her later years, she was involved with the Eldred Senior Center in Provo. One of Ada's greatest joys was ballroom dancing.

She was an active member of the LDS Church and she held various callings throughout the years.

Ada is survived by four children, Lani (Dave) Martin of Huntington Beach, CA; Marsha (Michael) McGuire of Mesquite, NV; Su Morgan, and Kent (Lavon) Morgan, both of Provo, UT; one sister, Larue Tingey of Twin Falls, ID; nine grandchildren, Stan, Scott, Andy, Jodi, Morgan, Michael, Robert, Lisa, Natalie; and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank, and 10 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 1998, at 11 a.m. in the Walker Funeral Home, 85 East 300 South, Provo, Utah. Friends and family may call from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday evening, or from 9:45-10:45 a.m. on Wednesday morning prior to the services at Walker Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Parkinson's research.
