An associate professor in the department of statistics is the recipient of the Journal of Athletic Training Kenneth L. Knight Award for Outstanding Research Manuscript.
The award will be presented by the National Athletic Trainers' Association to Gilbert Fellingham in Baltimore, Md., this month at the 49th NATA Annual Meeting and Clinical Symposia.The Journal of Athletic Training Editorial Board selects the top three submissions in each category as finalists and award recipients.
The award is given to recognize outstanding scholarship and to promote exemplary athletic trainers, according to Eve BeckerDoyle, executive director of NATA.
Fellingham has a background in both physical education and statistics. He provides collaborative support for research conducted by members of the department of physi-cal education at BYU.
