It's a ZZ kind of valley, already renowned for Jazz, Buzz, Starzz and an occasional wayward buzzard.
So you should feel right at home Saturday afternoon at the Taylorsville Dayzz celebration.The city's second-annual birthday bash will begin at noon with a parade along 5400 South that will start on Redwood Road and wind up at Valley Regional Park, 5135 S. 2700 West.
Attractions planned for the park during the afternoon include art exhibits, a puppet show, a silent auction, a carnival with rides and games, musical groups, dance performers, magic and pantomime shows, jugglers, balloon sculptors, clowns, face painters and caricature artists.
All this revelry, and you can get vaccinated too.
The CARE-A-VAN from Salt Lake County Health Department will be on hand from 1 to 4 p.m. to provide inoculations for local residents.
Other events will include the Taylorsville Children's Theater at 5:30 p.m., the announcement of who won the "If I Were Mayor" essay contest and performances of the Broadway Musical Review at 6:30 and 8 p.m.
