The opening of the new Bingham Creek Library for public use has been delayed a week to Saturday, July 11, but three previously scheduled programs will be held beginning Tuesday, July 7, in the library auditorium.

Patrons can enter the auditorium by using the door on the west side of the building at 4834 W. 9000 South.Here's the schedule of the programs. All are at 7 p.m.

- Tuesday, July 7 - "Where the Wild Things Are" for all ages. Come meet the Bingham Creek Library children's staff, listen to exciting stories and participate in fun activities.

- Wednesday, July 8 - "Animals Nobody Loves," for children ages 3 to 12. Snakes, spiders, bats and rats. Learn from Salt Lake County Animal Services about some of the animals people often dislike.

- Thursday, July 9 - "Book Some Time With Your Kids," for people of all ages. Come enjoy some great family stories and activities with storyteller Marion Riese.
