Clyde Hall, a caring husband and father, passed away April 24, 1998 at the age of 81.

He was born December 1, 1916, in Dry Fork, Utah, a son of Joshua Chellus and Gail Blankenship Hall. He spent his boyhood in Dry Fork and Hayden, Utah, where he learned to ride bronco horses and rope cattle. On May 4, 1940 he married Clara Colton. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in all of his callings. Clyde worked in the oil fields and loved the animals and flowers of the desert. He loved his family, teaching his children and grandchildren the fine art if fly fishing and love for the great outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Clara; and four children, Margene Jolley, Brent (Mary) Hall, Neldon (Wendy) Hall, and Steven (Jeanette) Hall; 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and five brothers and sisters, Floyd, Morgan, Marion Hall, Oral Merkley, and Dawna Wardell.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 27, 1998 at 11 a.m. in the Maeser Third Ward Chapel, 2575 North 1500 West. Friends may call at the Hullinger-Jolley Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the chapel. Interment will be in the Maeser-Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Hullinger-Jolley Funeral Home.
