Ogden-based Cordant Technologies Inc., formerly Thiokol Corp., announced Thursday that its Huck International subsidiary has completed its $270 million purchase of all outstanding shares of Jacobson Mfg. Co. Inc.
Jacobson is a manufacturer of custom-designed metal parts and fasteners and precision-engineered plastic products that are used in automotive, construction, consumer products and heavy equipment applications. It has manufacturing facilities in New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Arizona, North Carolina and Texas.Cordant financed the acquisition with existing lines of credit.
Huck manufactures industrial and aerospace fastener systems.
