Beatrice Knowlden Peterson passed from this earthly life on Monday June 8th, 1998 at her home from natural causes.
Her parents, Albert Knowlden and Cornielia Peterson brought her into this world on July 28, 1921 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She had nine brothers and sisters. Grace, Margaret, Leola, Grant and Howard survive her. Lewis, Paul, Jack and Kenneth preceded her in death.She married Parley Peterson on Feb 22, 1942 and their marriage was solemnized in the Logan Temple on Jan 9, 1962. Together they raised five children, Gayle, So. Jordan; George of Columbus, Ohio; Noland, of Sandy; and Irene Morse, of Tooele; and Joy Peterson. Her beloved Parley and daughter, Joy have preceded her in death. Beatrice worked hard throughout her life as a business woman in her own dry cleaning business and was a devoted mother and wife. She held various auxiliary positions in the LDS Church and was a beloved neighbor and friend to many. Her greatest pride and joy was her children, 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She loved flowers, strawberry milk shakes, the color blue, and the Jazz! She had a strong testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and was an example of love and compassion to all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at the Grantsville 4th Ward, 115 E. Cherry St. on Saturday, June 13th at 11 a.m. where friends may call one hour prior to the services to visit with the family. Interment will be in the Grantsville City Cemetery.
