Talks aimed at ending two strikes at plants critical to General Motors Corp. production ended without settlements Saturday.
GM officials said talks recessed at the Delphi Flint East parts plant and the Flint Metal Center by the afternoon. Talks at both plants were scheduled to resume today.Neither GM nor the United Auto Workers has commented on the progress of the talks.
No further plant closures were reported. By Friday, the strike by 9,200 workers at the two plants idled more than 50,000 others because of parts shortages.
