Baby-sitting classes are being offered throughout the summer at the American Fork Hospital and Utah Valley Regional Medical Center for children ages 9 to 14.
The classes are designed to provide an introduction to safe and fun baby-sitting with instructions on safety, first-aid, CPR, infant care and baby-sitting kit ideas.At the American Fork Hospital, a class is scheduled for Wednesday, July 15, in the hospital's Education Center. The class runs 9:30 a.m. to noon. Those interested in attending should register by calling Julie at 756-5854.
At Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, classes are scheduled for Friday, June 12; Friday, July 17; and Wednesday, Aug. 5, in the Northwest Plaza South Clark Auditorium. Class times are from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Those interested in participating should call 357-7176. A $3 fee is due at the first class.
