Employees leaving the Outback restaurant on 1300 South Wednesday night were accosted and threatened with knives and fists in the parking area.

Orem Police Lt. Bob Conner said three Orem men drove up as a group of employees left work around 10:30 p.m. and attempted to pick a fight. The men made a series of comments, drew a pair of knives and started swinging at members of the group before another employee swung a motorcycle helmet at them, hitting one in the head. The employees ran back into the building and a customer held the door against the attackers while a call was made to police, Conner said.

Two adult males and a juvenile, all Orem residents, were arrested at the scene after a brief chase of one of the assailants. The adults are in custody. The juvenile was released to his mother. Conner said the men had been drinking and did not know the people they attacked.
