Eleanor Vivian Carbajal Archuleta, age 59, passed away June 5, 1998 in Salt Lake City after a long, courageous battle with many illnesses.

Born June 28, 1938 in Grand Junction, Colorado, daughter of Pilar and Ramona Lovato Carbajal and adopted by godparents, Agapito and Florencia Archuleta. Member of the Catholic Church. She was a caring person and looked out for people who were down and out. She will be greatly missed by all the lives she touched. She was a very active fisherwoman, camper and loved to do arts and crafts and won several prizes at the fairs for her excellence in arts and crafts.Survived by brothers, Rudy Carbajal, Rapid City, South Dakota; Robert Archuleta, Salt Lake City; sister, Victoria Sierra, Pocatello, Idaho; close friend and companion of many years, Debbie Guyer, West Valley City; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their thanks to close friends, the doctors and TICU Staff at LDS Hospital who took such loving care of Eleanor.

Graveside service will be held Friday, June 19, 2 p.m., at Mt. View Cemetery, Pocatello, ID. Afterward, a celebration of life will be held from 3-7 p.m., at 820 East Young Street, Pocatello, ID.
